Devil is pulling our village into fires of hell, say terrified locals after lake vanishes
TERRIFIED residents in rural Bosnia where a lake has vanished fear the devil is pulling their little village down into the pits of hell.
The lake drained overnight earlier this year in the hamlet of Sancia.
And inexplicably the hole has grown deeper and wider by the day.
It now resembles a yawning chasma.. and none of the locals can determine how deep it actually goes down.
Local media say an underground river is to blame for creating the hole and draining the lake.
But superstitious peasants believe the devil is behind it.
